2x20 minutes or 1x40 minutes session per day on an elliptical trainer?
Right now I'm just starting 2x20 (6AM and 4PM), as I've done 1x20 every other day for a week now. Knees feeling happier too.

Is it better to exercise at random times, or the same routing every day at every time? Especially to avoid a plateau as I want to be rid of my gut. :)

Thx!

1. Is that 2x20 flat out, or
are you taking a 5 minute warm up and a 2 minute cool down?

It's about getting your heart rate up and keeping it there if you're constrained for time. In which case, I'd go for the 2x20, or even better, 2x30 if you're doing a warm up and a cool down.

Good luck.
