Thursday, 06/18/2009 - Daily Workout |

Whew! Almost another week gone. :-)
Today was a cardio day. 55 minutes elliptical
30 minutes treadmill.
I haven't measured my waist yet, but it feels smaller and flatter from doing all the HIIT sessions. I'll know more tomorrow when I do my weekly weigh-in.

Aside from the benefits to my heart, I never found it helped me lose weight. HIIT helped me become more fit. I prefer Pilates and weight lifting. I think weights reshaped my body. :-)

No, just the cardio alone doesn't do much in the body shape category. The weights and the HITT have been a vast improvement in that regard.
I do reg cardio in my off weight days to increase my endurance (I have a heart condition, so it helps) and I want to be able to do like 10 mile hikes at some point.
