The Prevention "Blast Calories With Dance" workout DVD |

from the Prevention exercise DVD series. This DVD has 3 workouts: Hip-Hop, Reggae Funk, and '90's Jam.
Pros: An entertaining cardio routine based on the dance moves. No complex routines or dance steps. No previous dance experience needed (unlike the Dancing With The Stars workout DVD's).
Cons: This is not a "learn to dance" video and the moves won't transfer to a nightclub dance floor. The 15-min sets are a bit too long IMO.
Conclusions: A good 45-min cardio workout. Great for those days you can't get outside or feel like staying in. It's not boring, but it wasn't a DVD that I'd want to put on every day. A good change to break the workout routine rut. I'd give it 3 of 5 stars.

I haven't seen a workout video since they were on video tape. I think olivia newton john was in them. Man, it's been a while.
I'd probably just put the reggae funk on and jam to it. I don't dance much - there's too many breakables in the living room to risk it.
