Free Tai Chi Classes - Chicago |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-01-11 09:05 PM by PopeRatzo
If any of you are interested, I teach a free Tai Chi class at Chicago's Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (it's in Lincoln Park) every Thursday at 9am. It's sponsored by the City and the Nature Museum and beginners are definitely welcome.
Our school taught on the Great Lawn in front of the Pritzker Pavilion last summer on Saturday mornings so if you came out for the City's Summer Workout Series, or jogged through Millennium Park on Saturday mornings, you may have seen a couple of hundred of us doing tai chi.
There's no charge for this. All ages welcome, and I do mean all ages. We've got students who are twenty-somethings and at least one who's a ninety-something.
We don't have unlimited space, so if you're interested, send me a message here using the Democratic Underground message system and I'll make sure you're name is on the list.
