Fellow Dean people: watch out for the columnists and "pundits" who |
|
Edited on Fri Feb-04-05 07:14 PM by Southsideirish
are coming out in a last ditch, desperate attempt to torpedo his bid for the DNC chair.
Remember their names as they are the enemies of a new, progressive Democratic party.
I believe they are the same jealous, tired old hacks who cut the legs out from him last time fearing he would eliminate their feeding time at the trough.
Loathsome louts.

all evidence points to the conclusion that Dean will get the job, and I'm glad for it.
But that doesn't mean that there can be NO legitimate opposition voiced to it. People DO in fact have sincere, legitimate reasons to either oppose Dean, or just support somebody else over him.

ANY person actively involved in politics invites disagreement. Some of those people will publish that disagreement - it doesn't necessarily mean it's done out of meanness or petty squabbles or a coordinated attack.
I guess I'm just saying that Dean's running for the position will engender some articles against him. That is true of anybody running for any position, and I don't see a reason to get exercised over it.
I can't think of any person in politics who doesn't have vocal critics - it's part of the process, and I don't feel personally offended when somebody I admire gets criticized by the opposition.

People do have sincere, legitimate reasons (related to their interests) to oppose Dean & a lot of people will be making a last ditch effort to stop him. so Dean supporters who disagree with the reasons and interests of those who make a last ditch effort to oppose him should remember who they are.

the media had a HUGE role in ending Dean's run for the Presidency but not out of jealousy but fear - Dean made some comment about reform of the FCC and the media being owned by a small group controlling the news and within days the MSM was destroying him. He is not a go along to get along weak kneed Dem like so many of our current "leaders" we need him - and I for one hope he wins this position. I didn't support him for the Presidency but he was my second choice behind Dennis Kucinich.
