Paper ballots:How do we get them? What methods exist?

I feel so powerless with a GOP as our sec. of state here.

How on earth do we get our will to become reality... ie, get the state to use

PAPER BALLOTS HAND COUNTED ?

Boycotting the election would not work.

How can we get our way .. paper ballots.. despite the existence of a GOP thug as SOS?

Open to all ideas.

1. Missouri is using the initiative strategy

Some states have an inititive, and if enough citizens agree, they can hold it for a vote.

Sadly my state doesn't have this, and most of the folks don't care about what is happening here anyway, even though election problems are still in the news here (NC)

You are from NC, so i am hoping maybe you know this corner of history.

I thought SC was all confederate ruled. Was it divided?

This is off topic, but i am really wondering about the great PBS show i saw about mr. Smalls.

He recuited blacks to the Union army door to door in SC after the war started.

but how?
