idea for 2006: get the House candidates who made good showings last year

Reason being, they already have constituencies, donor lists, some name recognition, and maybe some money left over.

1. A lot of people tried that last year.

And they're still trying.

As for me, one run was enough.

2. some advantages for 2006 though--

It's neither a Pres. election year, meaning lower turnout, plus the terrorism issues that made everyone crazy (ie, Republican) in 2002 are losing support.
