High GOP/low Dem primary turnout -is problem GOP suppressing Dem vote? |
|
Is it the problem the no recording cards for voting machines for 10 hrs in Dem areas, the registered voter list cleaned of Dem voters, intimidation of Dem voters, changed voting locations for Dem areas, absentee voting games, etc - with the primary a dry run for the Nov election?
And was the great GOP 72 hour GOTV for real, or was it stuffed ballot boxes plus electronic addition in the GOP column that reports 1 plus 29 equals 129?
Was the Dem turn out a problem of votes getting tossed after folks voted, by GOPers that know there will be no audit, via the traditional ballot box toss or the new electronic voting machine that does not record a vote so that we are told that a lot of folks go to the poll to not cast a vote?

1. Here in Minneapolis we had a HUGE Democratic turnout |
|
and a measly Republican turnout in our primaries. I remain quite optimistic.

2. The East coast - esp Conn - seemed to see the opposite - or so I |
|
am told.
Thanks for the info - I feel a bit better now. :-)

Both Republicans and Democrats had spirited campaigns for the top statewide race, attorney general. and Democrats cast half again as many votes as Republicans.

5. A friend at ABC said GOP GOTV in Conn and elsewhere was impressive, but |
|
that Dem turnout was not. At least that was their impression early am.
I was wondering if there was a suppression of Dem votes being done by the GOP as a test run for Nov.
I guess I see conspiracy everywhere these days.

7. Ahhhh I dont know, as we move thru Primary season, I see for |
|
the most part, good DEM turnout and poor COnservative, or Religious right turnout, Ralph Reeds primary loss in GA. Lamont in CT. Non aligned voters are swinging back to the middle.
