1. Good. He's got a healthy majority. |

But, yes.....The Media is working on this......
Eventually, if the media works hard enough at trying to make it seem that this President was supposed to have fixed the economy, as well as deficits, and job losses by now, all done without raising taxes or breaking a sweat, and certainly not by in anyway blaming his predecessor, he might even get down lower.
:woohoo:

Still, it's good that his approval rating is that high right now.

Maybe if he followed through with his major campaign promises people would come around
Cough
1- Like the no Lobbyist in his administration...
2- Like bringing our troops home...
3- Like bringing sunlight into the treasury...
Maybe if he just stopped the jingoism that has become our foreign policy... Maybe if he stopped bailing out all of his friends in Goldman Sachs (main campaign contributor).
I really hope he turns it around, giving the American people this health care biscuit isn't enough, he needs to end American imperialism and he needs to end corporate welfare.

to criticize the guy. I put so much blood and sweat into seeing him elected that I kind of look at him in that can do no wrong way that parents do their kids. Certainly he is an improvement over Bush, but America is full of a whole lot of wishy washy people that look at the current situation more than they do the long term. I hope for his sake the economy turns around.

dipped but I think it is mainly due to the healthcare debate. Many people have been scared into thinking that the plan is something else and have not even read the bill. Giving some time, I think his numbers will rise again.

Since there is a certain % of the population who will always disapprove of Obama no matter what he does, it kind of skewers the meaning of the poll. What should be important is his approval ratings among democrats who elected him to represent them.

As long as Obama does well, we can avoid fascism. If the Tea Party movement gets too much traction we might as well start learning to goose-step. Obama ain't perfect -- but next to his predecessors he looks pretty damned good. With him, we can claim the Supreme Court for a generation. If he goes down, it could all too easily resemble the Weimar Republic and Von Hindenberg, 1933. So take care of your President -- he's still the best thing we've got on our side.
