Paul Berry is suspended from DUP

Newry and Armagh DUP assembly member Paul Berry has been suspended from the party, the BBC has learned.

It is understood Mr Berry attended a disciplinary panel examining a newspaper story alleging he met a male masseur at a Belfast hotel.

The masseur claimed a sexual encounter had taken place, which Mr Berry denied.

He has described the report of his suspension as "nonsense". However, the suspension has been confirmed by a party spokesman.

I wonder what the Right Reverend Paisley thinks about these developments? No doubt it was a PIRA sympathizing masseuse that got the lad in this mess.

If only he had said, "NO" when he was asked if he would like a happy ending to his massage therapy.
