Is it OK to talk about comic strips here? |
|
We need to talk about something to stay afloat, otherwise Skinner will delete us. I'll start: Why does 9 Chickweed Lane exist? http://us.news1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/umedia/20050320/cp.a23d1e784b488b28f26f038770782f61

but maybe there is some context I am missing. I do like the art in 9 Chickweed Lane, though.
I generally follow three comic strips, and only online: Doonesbury, Boondocks, Get Fuzzy, and For Better or For Worse (I've been reading both Doonesbury and FBOFW since I was a kid, and have grown up with the characters. I REALLY Like how the artists' have their characters age in real time.)
I think that comic strips are totally appropriate for this forum, as comic books sprang from comic strips, and what we are really talking about here is our appreciation for sequential art.

2. I generally follow three, as well. |

Two of the same as you. Doonesbuy, Boondocks and Andy Capp. I love that guy.
I remember in 7th Grade, I clipped the Far Side out of the newspaper every day. I was planning on ammassing a huge collection. Like most things, I got tired of it within a month or two.

or just Comics
Since we're a political board, editorial cartoons could be posted regularly.
