freaking hilarious. one of the funniest comics I've read in a while. Pick it up for sure!

I generally give anything Ellis does at least a chance, because when he's ON, there aren't many writers working in comics who are better. Desolation Jones and Fell are both among my current favourites. But Nextwave read too much like Warren Ellis playing at being Grant Morrison for my taste...if I want to read a Grant Morrison comic, I'll buy one that Grant Morrison actually wrote.
