| I just read my first two books of the year.. |
|
1. Justice League of America: Green Lantern, Hero's Quest, by Dennis O'Neil. Its about 340 pages long, and its a novel. It was the creation story of Kyle Rayner, how he got his ring, and how he got introduced into the JLA. I enjoyed this book greatly. I haven't read much of GL, but this book got me hooked....:D
2. Last Sons-by Alan Grant. This novel involves Superman, Lobo, and the Martian Manhunter...and if you know your comics, all three are the Last Son's of their respective planet. The most interesting aspect of the book, was the creation story of Lobo, and how his planet got...destroyed. The book was very good, but a bit predictable towards the end....

| 1. I'll have to check out that JLA: GL one |

I've always thought I'd like the Green Lantern mythology, but I've never had a good place to start.
Thanks for the tip.

I was surprised how fast I cut through it...you finally get a good peek at the Oan's also, and just how far the ring's power can actually be pushed...:)
