Even in the most optimistic of scenarios. |

I can't imagine that my ex would have agreed to move to the city where I now live (Santa Fe, NM). And even though there are still things about him that I miss, such as being on the same page politically, I'm glad I'm not stuck back in Kansas where he still is.
Sometimes divorce is not the end of the world. Sometimes it's the doorway to a better life.

If you make the best of it, you will get the best of it.
You have a great attitude and I don't doubt that you make the best possible decisions.
Good luck!

Mine still playing games, believe it or not! Judge 'spanked' him recently; may have some sort of decision December 5, and may be able to move (recently thought this a good idea) into more social community. MAY have to wait until Spring, but could be better to do so then. :hi:
edit: Just went back to May thread, and your post that I need a judge who is on my side: HAVE ONE!

Yeah, a positive attitude does help. So does a bottle of wine every so often. :)
For all that my ex wasn't exactly forthright about telling me when he fell in love with someone else, and even though he's been able to get the support money cut, he hasn't been as bad as what you seem to have had to deal with. And I was very fortunate in that our two sons were already grown by the time everything happened, so I did not end up a single mom. Very lucky.
