1. For a "Doctor," Coburn has some very strange attitudes. |
|
I'm still waiting for him to answer my question about who gets the short end of the stick: his patients or his constituents? Since being a Doctor and a Senator are both full time jobs, one or the other (or perhaps both?) are getting screwed.
And then there's the time he spends on shit like this, and helping other Republican Senators cover up their extramarital affairs (Ensign).

2. Teh quote was awesome - but a couple questions come to mind |
|
1) Is the Senator licensed to practice medicine in DC? Should he be?
2) Since the Republicans are always wanting to make sure Mommy & Daddy make all those decisions about what is the correct sex ed info to be taught to their kids, did the Senator get the parent's permission? (I seem to remember Foley's interns being under the age of 18)
3) If I were an intern and didn't want to participate, would there be consequences? Is that a form of workplace sexual harassment?
With all that being said, it wouldn't be fair not to add that it is good to see a medical doctor trying to get info out there and doing so in a way that isn't an ideological plug - there is some credit deserved there I think

3. I'd go for the hilarity of it |
|
The person who asked the monogamy question should be given a medal.
