"Outside Speaker Pelosi's DC office on Thursday, we found a disconcerting site: the Congresswoman in bed with George Bush! It seems the two of them, behind closed doors, have been colluding to guarantee $162 billion more of our tax dollars for war! Code Pink."
This a democracy and deals made behind closed doors without our knowledge or the vote of Congress regarding the purse is abuse of power. It is undemocratic. Resign. You have failed to carry out the mandate of 2006 for open government, a different direction, and an end to the war. then I imagine you will walk away with your bag of plunder just like Hastert, DeLay, etc.

3. I hope Nancy is put out of power. |

But then again they never go away and even come back in with a new President. She's got her bag of plunder...three homes, etc.

9. Do you know about the Money Bomb on August 6th for Cindy Sheehan? |
|
The more money Cindy Sheehan raises, the more "accountable" Nancy Pelosi becomes.

4. As many more are saying now |
|
Congress his allowed itself to become irrelevant. Bushco's rubber stamp.
To think- lots of people shouted at me saying "It can't happen here!" when I tried to warn them over the years.
Tsk. It can and it has.

5. Why don't they believe us is beyond me. |
|
They are part of the problem because they fail to complain when those in DC abuse their power. They are not lords or ladies but they act like it under King Georgie.

6. You should be shocked SHOCKED by this story... |
|
If we lived in a world where only GM or Ford manufactured cars, those two companies would frequently collude as well. They would appear to be competing adversaries in their advertising & marketing, but their cars would be of equivalent quality, and their principals would be members of the same country club. (Only their lawyers would be different.)
Nader is right to criticize the two-party duopoly on power.

8. How to Manage your Congress Member |
|
Hiring professionals to provide services for you is a challenging task.
You want to be sure that your auto mechanic fixes the right component on your car to eliminate that funny noise.
You would not be a happy customer if your dentist drilled the wrong tooth.
So when it comes to your congress member, you want to be sure they are Creating Legislation that meet your needs. Otherwise you should do the same as you would with any other professional - SELECT another.
Manage your congress member more effectively at www.My-Representative.org
If you don't - they you can't really complain about the poor service you are getting.
