for owner problems with VW cars in general and with the terrible atitude of neglect on the part of the company. VW had a good reputation at one time, and is still trading on it, but they will screw an owner whenever possible. I have owned 3 VW's over the years and will never buy another.

Ours has been in the shop now for near 4 weeks - they cannot find what is wrong with it.

1. The "oil sludge" nightmares of the last few years

have ruined VW and some Audi for me. I'll never own one.

2. We just had it towed as a trade-in this morning. I was pretty much

unrepairable for any realistic amount of money. We bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe.

This was my 5th VW, and certainly my last.
