Found one really dumb feature on my old Hyundai Santa Fe...

Found one really dumb feature on my old Hyundai Santa Fe...
To change the spark plugs (V-6 engine) you have to remove the intake and exhaust manifolds...just to change the back 3 plugs. Dealer quotes a price of over $250 (but that includes new wires!!!).

I think this is really poor engineering, even though the plugs seem to last forever (we have over 73000 miles on it and they are still good.)

I guess fixing your own car is a dieing art...
