Toyota stops production of Tundra. |
|
I have just read where Toyota is stopping production of their full size truck series, Tundra, due to lagging sales. Of course this is nothing new for the big three that have already scaled back production of most of their full size truck series to include trucks and SUVs. Being from Texas myself, I am finding an amusing side to all this. I can't imagine all the faux cowboys around here with their ostrich leather boots, belt buckle the size of a hubcap, and a hat that makes their ears stick out like a four door car, pulling up to one of the shit kicker bars in a RAV4 with a fart pipe. What will they do to look like a real cowboy now?

reminds me of an old cowboy (real) that lived 20 miles down the San Pedro River - dirt road. He was quite a character. Tall, lanky, stereotypical big hat. He drove a bright yellow Karmann Ghia. It was always a hoot to watch him unfold himself out of that thing at a bull sale.

2. I understand GM is planninf to discontinue Buicks |
|
as well as several of their most oversize SUV's.. GM will be left with Chevrolet, Cadillac and a limited reange of Pontiac models. They also seem to be thinking of selling Saab and Saturn, neither of which has been good sellers lately.

your information is wrong, but that's ok, I am used to that around here.
