NA Music recommendations, please! :D |
|
I absolutely *LOVE* ULALI (though, outside of online, it's miserably hard to find)
Dig Jim Boyd, but haven't rummaged through his discography to find out which album to get.
Smoke Signals soundtrack is a good start, but i'm curious for more.
I know about Indigenous Records and seriously wish i had more money to buy more stuff.
Used to be a rave promoter around here called Native Vision that had some awesome parties (now defunct, went to their last party. unless they recently started up again without me knowing).
So, any music recommendations? I prefer rock, hip hop, house, metal, goth, punk, trance, etc. essentially modern youth stuff (though ULALI is a million kinds of wonderful). Any must have albums?

giving Keith Secola a try? He claims to be alterNATIVE in his music but that may just be the publicity. He has a few albums out and I like "Wild band of Indians" and "Circle". This does not fall literally into the music genres you listed though - so you're mileage may vary... :)
