:hi:
I've looking for my mother for many years now. According to what records I do have, here father was said to be a Navajo indian that was born in "Pueblo, Arizona" in 1888. I have never been able to find any record of this place in Arizona.
Does anyone happen to know of this place.
Today btw, Tucson, Arizona (where my mother ended up living for about 15 years) is aka "Old Pueblo".
What do y'all think?

..are permanent villages established by Tribes such as the Hopi, Zuni, Taos and Navajos in western and northern Mexico, as well as in northeastern Arizona. He could have been born to one of any number of Pueblos. Tuscon might be a good place to start, but you might need a little more information, which isn't easy to come by since 'record keeping' wasn't exactly an 'Indian thing'. Sorry.

There were several places in Arizona know as "Pueblo" something or the other.
I suppose I'll have to keep looking for him. I just do not know - another possibility could be Hopi Indians. My late mother recalled going to an Indian school and they arrived on horseback every day. This was in about 1930 or so.
