Does anyone know when Native American History Month is? |
|
One place I read, during Clinton years it was October, last year November. I am really confused and I would like to use the month as a revitalization of our forum.

My wife put on a American Indian meeting at walmart this past friday at the auditorum at the Home Office in Bentonville. She got Jim Grey chief of the Osage, and George Wycliffe Chief of the Keetowah Band of Cherokee to come and speak. She also got the Color guard from Haskell Indian Nations University to come down(warriors society)...it was a good program.
For most of the people there (over 100 management) it was a first time exposure to American Indian issues, and economic development...It was a good program, my wifey works for the Diversity Relations Department at Walmarts home offices, and is the American Indian Resource Group(Tribal Voices) chairman...yeah, she's smart...:P
