Rusch-Guthrie was one of two teenagers from Klawock who became an experiment in Native tribal justice when sentenced to time on an island off Craig.

Rusch-Guthrie and his cousin, Simon Roberts, in 1993 used an aluminum baseball bat to rob a pizza delivery man in Everett.

The 25-year-old vicitim suffered permanent hearing and eyesight damage.

I seem to recall that there was a case in which two guys were banished to some islands off of Alaska but I can't swear that it was these two. I remember seeing something on the national news shows about banishments but I can't tell you what time period it was.

who were banished....I haven't seen any other cases like this since then though.
