| Anyone here ever read "Nutcracker" by S. Alexander? |
|
Holy crap!!
What a freaking nutty family. It is about a "psychopathic" (as she was diagnosed by quite a few shrinks) daughter of a megarich, cheapskate father, how she manipulated her parents (and her love-hate relationship with her mother) who gets her son to kill the old man.
I highly recommend this for anyone who like well-written TC stories. It is not like the hastily written crap that St. Martin's sometimes cranks out, although those will do in a pinch when you are bored.

It was a good read. The whole family was a psych major's dream.
I remember Alexander from the old 60 minutes. And most especially, the spoof on SNL. "Jane, you ignorant slut".

It really is one of the most well written true crime books. I agree completely with the poster who said that the whole family was a psych major's dream. Just incredibly dysfunctinal.
