on which Thomas Harris based his character 'Hannibal Lecter', only the serial killer known as 'The Monster of Florence' was real. Its a very interesting read, a real page turner. Several men have actually been found guilty of being the MOF, but the killings have continued unabated. There has been no real resolution to this case. Just wondering if anyone else out there is familiar with this case?
