TC-ers: How long have you been true-crimin'?

I was twelve or so when I started reading books about true crimes. But I'd watched "Unsolved Mysteries" for a couple of years before that. (Hey, it was the '80s, TC was huge back then.)

1. 40 years...first read "In Cold Blood" when I was eight...

and have been hooked ever since.
I probably inherited my taste for the lurid from my mother. Thanks Mom!

2. About thirty years

started readubg TC books as a neonate.

3. Forever! Used to read my Grandfather's pink-sheet "True Detective" or whatever it was called!

That's about 50 years or more.
As a child, I wanted to be a detective. My "true love" is "Lennie Briscoe", Ha!

One of the highlights of my travels was the night-time "Jack the Ripper Tour" in London!
