| Have you ever read so many TC books that you |
|
accidentally re-read one and not realize it until you are well into it? LOL!
That happens to me quite a bit!

Speaking of... Do you hide your books behind others? LOL. I have so many true crime books and the like, that I put them behind other books on my shelf so people don't think I am some whack job.

but now I have so many, I could not.
And I sometimes think I looked like a whacko because of them.

you're hiding them like some gals hide their romance novels. Too funny.

Well, there is a difference between romance and a whole bookshelf of books that talk about mass murder, killing sprees and slicing up bodies. I just used to think that people would look at all those books and think I was obsessed with it all.

| 10. My wife used to make me keep them seperate from the other books... |
|
this was when I kept literally hundreds of TC books. I tried to explain to her that this looked even creepier and odder- "Honey, why don't I just put some gloves, handcuffs, and a tire tool into the boxes with them?" She was not amused. Okay, she was amused a little bit.

I read them so fast, I run out of reading material often. I buy them when I can afford it, go to the public library often (but I've gone through most there, too!). So I re-read a lot, but not because I forget, I have no choice!

been one to forget plots of books so he can enjoy them over and over again. I still remember plots in detail so I have to re-read or find new books. It's a lot cheaper to just forget them all! But he remembers faces -- anytime we watch TV, he'll say "Oh, see this guy? He played this obscure part in such and such an obscure movie years ago." And he's RIGHT every time!

| 9. I hate it when I start a book that seems great |
|
and then start noticing that is seems familiar, then realize I have read it. I only really do it with the St. Martin's Crime crappo books that they turn out on every case no matter how minor.

It happens to me with all kinds of books!
I have re-read a couple TC books on purpose. The most compelling for me is "Deviant", the story of Ed Gein.

Alex Delaware series. They always have such similar titles.
