2. I have also followed it closely
My first impression was and still is that the cops dropped the ball. It's another story where law enforcement zoomed in on suspects and ignored other possibilities.

I am inclined to think the parents had nothing to do with the baby's disappearance. I also think it's a case that will never be solved.
