| What can we do to juice up this forum? |
|
Hello All:
I am sorry that I haven't been here as much as I was in the past; I finally got a real job, moved, and have been concentrating on that.
Now that things are settling down I ask all you TC fans-do any of you have ideas or suggestions for getting more members for our forum? I know there is a great deal of interest in TC.
I could go back to weekly alerts when new eps of Forensic Files, etc come on. Anything else you guys would like to do or volunteer to do? Book recommendations? TV shows or documentaries to recommend?
Thanks in advance. :)

| 1. I think it would be fun to read a book together, |
|
but I've heard book clubs have been tried on other DU forums & have little or no success.
I watch very little tv, so shows or documentaries aren't really an interest, but it's popular with other posters. I'm sure they would appreciate your efforts.
best

I'd be up for it (book, also Forensics Files).

| 3. Well, one thing that would help, maybe, is |
|
to offer suggestions for people looking for information. I live in NC and I have heard several rumors about a serial killer working this area killing women. Being a woman, I would like to know if the rumor is true or not. I have only heard that the sheriff in Anson County said something about suspecting a serial killer in the area, but haven't been able to find any more information about it. Does anyone have any suggestions that would help? I would like to follow this story closer and maybe do some reasearch on the subject. I have tried to look at the Anson County Record newspaper online, but couldn't seem to get their search function to work.

Anybody know of any good sites for this type of research?

| 5. Also, a fictional crime game would be fun. |
|
We could split off into two groups (for the purpose of the game.) One group could act the crime solvers and the other group could act as the witnesses, suspects, and others who have clues to solve the fake crime. I am not sure about all the details of how to play the game. It's just an idea I came up with and I thought I would ask.
