| I gotta laugh at my cats. |
|
This morning while online, I heard that muffled "REEEOWWWWR" sound and scuffle that means they're fighting again. You know, balled into one of those biting, rear-leg-rabbit-kicking contortions that cats get into when they get bored from living together and go at it with each other.
I couldn't see them at first, but sure enough, the younger, big fat one, Bella, eventually emerged from behind a chair, streaking a beeline for the bedroom--followed soon after by Harley, the older, small skinny one, standing there triumphantly like a lion on the African veldt in the middle of the living room, looking off into the distance...with a WAD OF BLACK-AND-WHITE-FUR still clinging to her mouth, drifting in the breeze.
I just about laughed till I cried.
Of course, no one was hurt. Bella just got a little trim taken off, is all. But it was funny.

Oreo was 16 when I got CC and Keith - and today, she fights with them, can outrun and outjump CC, and taunts Keith at least once a day. She's 18, but acts like she's about 8. :)

| 4. Yeah - I often find little bits of Oreo around the house. |
|
Some she leaves on her own, but most got there courtesy of her brothers.
Reminds me of the story of CC and the chicken coop - caught with the feather across his mouth.

| 5. I sometimes see evidence of a scuffle among my cats... like bits |

of fur strewn on the carpet. It happens when I'm at work, which is good, because I'm always worried someone will get hurt (and end up with an abscess and vet bills). So far, so good. I don't know why they "argue," but it seems to come out of nowhere.
Funny critters-- I'll never figure them out!!
