I saw Jill Hazelbaker, McSame's campaign communications director, appear with Andrea Mitchell, and my first thought was:



"Katy Tur, only Republican and with blue eyes."

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Especially knowing his predilection for young ladies of 25 or so? (that's how old Cindy was when they met).

I read up a little bit on her--apparently she's been accused of having astroturfed online for Repugs by posting pro-Repug campaign messages with multiple screen identities from a single IP address, but there's been no conclusive proof.

Sounds just like the kind of shady dealer those folks just love.

I just find it fascinating the kinds of people who end up being bigwigs on Repug campaigns...beautiful young women with little experience at doing anything, and what experience they have seems to be connected with some sort of dirty trick or other.

It is scary but their base likes it. But then again, their base also goes crazy over Paris Hilton and Britney Spears but rejects the Dixie Chicks.

Their line-up of blond talking heads creeps me out because they are so interchangeable that I sometimes have trouble telling them apart.

7. And what is really sad is

that these women are willing participants. Talk about exploiting women. I swear, sometimes when I'm watching Mad Men I wonder if that's what it is still like in the Fox News and Republican offices. And, at least to me, it seems like the majority of them are blond which is their way of not-so subtly saying "white power".
