I have this thing about liking to go to the polls. I know I should vote absentee this year so I don't have to get there at 7 a.m. before I go to volunteer for the day. I'm going to be one of the comfort captains -- we're in charge of getting food, water, coffee, etc. for all the volunteers (and ponchos if it's raining like it always does on election day -- it's a Michigan tradition). We also have to make sure people in line when the polls are closing have food and drink so they don't leave.
