Just heard Jindal's speech in its entirety a few minutes ago and all I have to say

is OMFing Gawd.
Barney Fife meets Kenneth the Paige. Are they picking their candidates now on how mockable they are by all the cast of Thirty Rock?
Unbelievable.

I think actually, Jindal has been set up to fail. The Republicans know that the only candidate who'll appeal to their rascist, jingoistic, xenophobic 'base' is Palin. They just took Jindal out of the running so they can try and fire up the knuckle dragging mouth breathers with their Queen of Mean, Sarah P in 2012 (if there is a 2012).

That speech was jaw droppingly lame however, and highly enjoyable on some schadenfreudy level.
