Anyway, I'm glad they got Joe, Mika and Pat off the air for a bit. Every other damn word out of their lips this morning was "Reagan." Reagan, Reagan, Reagan. You'd think it was Reagan who had just died.

Man, I could not stand THAT event. It was about the same time I was moving, anyway, so it was easy to avoid. I just turned off the TV for days.

11. Oh, it probably is, given that it's made with white and brown sugar and evaporated milk.

And butter. Not all that much sugar and butter, though, really.

It's one of those easy pies to make (especially with the pat-in-pan pie crust recipe I have, also in the Amish cookbook) that is fairly cheap and quick but my God, it tastes like heaven.

However, it's more difficult to make when a certain CAT smells the odor of evaporated milk and leaps to the countertop, thinking this is a prime opportunity to lap up a drink. AGGGGGHHHHHHH...I managed to scare her away from the pie before any long black hairs got into it, but grrr... :grr:
