I want to say thank you all for understanding that we're damn entitled to feel sorry for ourselves!

When I went through my little personal hell last year, I can't begin to describe how wonderful it was to come here and talk among people who really could sympathize in some way with my absolute need to just fucking feel sorry for myself--I mean that wholehearteadly.

With the endless burdens we all carry, it's nice to know we really can spill our guts out among people who won't roll their eyes, try to change the subject, judge, or--God help me, the absolute worst damn thing of all--tell us to cheer up and think positive.

I've gotten so much out of this group that I don't think I can ever possibly return it.

God/fate/any chosen spiritual interference/coincidence willing, I'll get to thank some of you personally.

But I mean this--I consider our little circle of misery to be among my most trusted and dearest friends--I've shared feelings of misery with you guys that I won't even share with my husband. We may pass on the street and never know each other but we know we've got each other's backs right here.
