Also Byetta for weightloss if you have diabetes type 2 |
|
Byetta has to be injected, but it is a tiny needle and most people are very happy with it. It takes a your appetite away and helps lower your blood glucose. Insurance isn’t covering it yet, so it costs around $140.00 a month. It is an incretin mimetic, so it helps ones metabolism to be more normal. Januvia is a new DM type 2 med from Merck and it causes the Beta cells to release more incretin hormones, but it doesn’t seem to help with weightloss.
