Anyone have any experience dealing with chronic hives? |
|
I have seen quercetin recommended, and may try that when I have some money; nothing else but steroids have worked so far.
They are vibratory hives and I've had them for almost two years now, mostly on my hands, feet, and in my mouth, but they do crop up from time to time just about all over.

1. Wow, there are a lot of things that are worse than taking steroids |
|
is. I have been on oral steroids for 16 years now because I'm not ready to be in a wheel chair with my kidneys failing.
Right now, antihistamines and steroids are the treatments of choice. Quercetin might be worth a try. Have you discussed it with your doctor?

2. Hives can be a symptom of Candida overgrowth. Check this link |
|
to see if you have other symptoms. Using steroids and antibiotics long term can cause it.
