Coincidentally, I was just recently dx with a high thyroid level, so I need to start taking drugs. I didn't feel anything, but I am on another drug that can hurt the liver, so they check my blood regularly. Interesting stuff.

5. here are some links>> i was one of the "Environmental Canaries" of the 80's, my immune system was

destroyed by a chemical in cheap carpet glue, called 4PC. i had Hives from hell.. fever to 103 on occasion. t had catastrophic reactions to any petroleum product or formaldehyde. i had to cut the elastic out of my underwear and socks.. couldn't use detergent, shampoo.. or wear any polyester at all.. car fumes on the road gave me flu symptoms

the denials were thick enough to walk on.. the Republican dominated EPA protected the Corporations to the end, even when the head quarters of the EPA were moved to a new building with new carpet, they never did admit it, even though the building had to be evacuated and abandoned because of ..."sick building syndrome"

7 years later a film crew broke into the building and took a 1 foot square piece of the carpet from under a filing cabinet, they put it on an intake manifold that delivered air into 8 individual tubes each containing a mouse, there were 2 controls with air from before the carpet sample,

within a few days all the mice were dead except the 2 controls

i recovered in about 6 years.. i hear many didn't

i don't believe there has been a fair examination into the fire retardant, the Bu$h admin wouldn't allow it.. the liabilities of the manufacturers would be ... as bad as it gets.
