But Dragon has been around for a very long time, and I know some years back, it was well thought of, and got excellent reviews.

I would perhaps have you check out some review sites, like epinions.com and Amazon.com for information. You might want to check out froogle.com, part of google's network to see what they've got for information. Both froogle and epinions also have price comparisons.

Another site, www.techrepublic.com, might have some reviews as well, and I'm sure there are other sites that can help you on that. Oh--also check out about.com which can also be enlightening.
