I wanted to tell them what Will Pitt and others have said about showing up. They were talking about going to Texas. I would go to Texas, too, but in all honesty, I think the trip might actually kill me. I'm diabetic and just took off the cervical collar after neck surgery. I felt lousy lousy LOUSY today.

But I want to make a difference, too.

I've been going crazy wanting to do more, but with the heat and everything, it's been really hard for me to do much other than give money and supplies.

5. Me and my friends are doing

a vigil tomorrow night in the town park. I'm trying get some of those candles with the cups around them. My friend's son is in Iraq and my friend and to top it off his son is like totally brainwashed into being a soldier freeper.
