Gastro done Colonscopy next..
Had my upper gastro today, doc says I have a small hiatal hernia and I dont need to do anything with it. So thats a good sign.

Tuesday I get my colonoscopy.. which I'm NOT looking forward to!! I got scared when it says in the instruction sheet "do not go far away from any bathroom facilities". I sat there and wondered wtf am I getting myself into.

So if my colonoscopy comes back clean, I need my gallbladder out. My HIDA scan came back 15% and I have small stones.

YAY and I'm only 24 :(

1. i get to have a colonoscopy tomorrow
yum. it's ok, tho. half of my aunts died of colon cancer, and they found a pre-c polyp 3 years ago. so, i guess it is worth it. but......

2. I hear ya.. my grandmother had colon cancer in her 40's..
my mom and aunt both have polyps. So I'm a little antsy to what they're going to 'find'.

How is the prep going for you? I already started drinking broth/chicken boullion.

3. i forgot i wasn't supposed to eat.
but i didn't have very much before i remembered. so far it is not as bad as last time. mostly, i am in a different place mentally. i am not as frustrated with docs and tests and all. i fired a couple of them, and finally got some decent treatment for my fibro. so, things just don't seem so weighty.
