Do members of this group read these posts on a daily basis? |
|
I do. I feel I am chatting with a huge and varied group of friends from all over the world. I have found great comfort here as I'm sure you have. In these times, when everything is difficult no matter where you turn, there is comfort coming back here.
Sometimes I find curious things here but mostly find a sympathetic ear. I may go back and read my posts from a year or two ago and see all the kind words and thought sent to me. I read posts by others and the nice replies to those posts.
Once in a while I see a 'deleted message' and wonder who on earth could post something in this group that would need to be deleted. Certainly it is someone with no heart.
I guess this little post is meant to say thanks to all of you and encourage you to go back and read posts prior to this. You will find some great words of wisdom.

I read this group daily. I marvel at the compassion and love sewn into each and every post.
There is so much wisdom and sadly, experience here.
I may not post much, but I read every day, usually more than once.

2. I don't read this forum, or even DU, daily |
|
But if I am home, the computer is probably on. If you want my email address, PM me and I will send it to you. You are welcome to email anytime you need to chat or vent. With family flung around the world, I DO check email pretty often.
And even when I do not look in on this forum, you guys are thought of daily. Know people care and hope you all are doing better. Know people care and are here for when you are not doing well.
Good advice to go back over old posts. I do that when things get to be a lot to deal with. I almost posted this morning, as I had another dream with my nephew in it and not really getting the message of it just yet. Such dreams always leave me dis-associated with the activities of the day. There is something that needs to be understood, but sometimes it eludes.

when I feel I have the strength to cry again.
If I do not, I cannot read them.
Sorry for the weakness.

5. H Ceveritt. You are NOT weak! |
|
Please be kind to yourself. I cannot begin to imagine your pain. I would hazard a guess that you are stronger than I am in many ways.

7. Well, thanks for that. |
|
But I certainly don't feel strong. I've been particularly inert for the last week. Just have done nothing. And I can't afford that luxury any longer.

4. I do. Sometimes all I have to offer is a cyber hug |
|
No one really knows the challenges and fears and grief each one feels. I often don't know what to say, but I like being able to come here and offer a  or any words I can.

6. I feel the same way. I often feel impotent and unable |
|
to meet the needs of many.
Cyber hugs are all I have sometimes. I would like to think they help a little bit. :)
It's nice to have this small community of like minded friends.
