Today would be your 23rd birthday, and in less than two weeks, you will have been gone from this life for 4 years. I don't know how I made it, but I know you have been there every step of the way. Nothing could have blessed me more than the years of being your mom. You taught me so much, and gave me so much love. There was never a dull moment, that's for sure! The memories I hold are like precious jewels, and alot of them make me laugh. What a blessing, to have such a wise, funny, clever and passionate son. My little Leo, my old soul teacher! I know you know how much I love you, and I know you are still with me. Thanks for being there during so many times, both happy and sad. Keep talking to me, and I will keep listening. Thanks for all you do for me...

How I ache for you! You describe Andrew much as I describe my son, Aaron. Old soul is even a description I've heard of Aaron since he was a baby.

Those precious jewels called memories! No price tag can be named. They aren't for sale, but there's nothing that could come close to their value anyway. There is still an Andrew and an Aaron shaped essence walking our earth; the world won't forget them.

My Aaron would be 31 on August 7. He left us here on November 11, 1998.

your memories of Aaron, on this post and others. I ache for you, too, because I know it is a pain like no other. I know you're right, that Aaron and Andrew are still with us, and the world remembers them even when they forget, because the world would not have been the same without them. Weren't we lucky to be chosen by two old souls? :)

He was really something special, for all his 19 years. Hugs to you, too, and I hope you are finding comfort in your own memories after the loss of your dear mom. I lost my mom this year, too, and it's been hard, but she really suffered and that has made it easier.
