The DU Bicycling Group aims to create a forum for DU members to:

1.Encourage all people to participate in bicycling without regard to age or expertise.
2.Promote policies for “Complete Streets”, where all streets routinely accommodate travel by all modes of transportation.
3.Position bicycling as a key prescription for an active and healthy lifestyle.
4.Advocate for adequate funding for a complete non-motorized transportation infrastructure.
5.Discuss all aspects of bicycling with special emphasis on bicycling safety, bicyclist's rights and responsibilities.
6.Enhance communications among cyclists and to provide opportunities for bicycling and socializing with others.
7.Provide education about safe and responsible bicycling.


Toward these ends, the group will try to provide news, information, analysis, safety advice, advocacy advice, feature articles, and links to useful information elsewhere.
