I use SPF 15 broad-spectrum sunscreen everyday.

Anyone else here do the same?

2. Every day; my husband thinks I am a freak.

Every week we have the Weekend Argument when I am getting ready to work in the yard with him:

Him: You look like you're sick, you're deathly white, get some sun, it's GOOD for you.
Me: EVERY dermatologist in the WORLD agrees with me so STFU.

I use BeComing Skinfusion SPF15 on weekdays, with Prescriptives Virtual Skin foundation SPF10. On the weekends I use Avon Beautifully Protected SPF30. For rest of body on weekends etc, we use Ocean Potion baby lotion SPF50.

Yes, I am a health n beauty products HO, and I live in the SF area. Go figure. Must've been those years I spent in Texas. I've toned down the Full Battle Dress Rockette look, but still must worship at the altars of the first floor of any department store :9

3. People thought I was weird

I remember 25 years ago I was using sunscreen in Miami. My pals were using baby oil and iodine mixed together.

They thought I was a freak.

Guess what? I get carded at times when I buy booze!

I now used Oil of Olay broad-spectrum 15 SPF unscented.

I use a moisturizer with SPF15 every day -- right now it's Dove Face Care. For heavier sun exposure, I apply Shiseido SPF33.

During my pre-teen years, I was in the sun A LOT in the summer (loved hanging out at the pool), so I hope I haven't already done too much damage. I'm 43 and not looking wrinkly yet, so hopefully I'm doing something right!

A few years ago before a beach vacation, one of my co-workers (who happens to be a physician) actually recommended I do a few sessions at a tanning booth. I didn't get burned, but it just didn't feel right lying there like a hot dog under a broiler. I prefer to just slather on the sunscreen and watch my sun exposure.

5. Do you use an alpha hydroxy acid?

It can really help cell turnover.

There is only so much exfoliation the skin can take.

But it sounds like you're doing fine. I know they really recommended a sunscreen especially with any kind of skin cell turnover products.

Fair-skinned redhead. I burn under incandescent bulbs. I've never had a tan, so no one gives me any crap about it, and DH is a good little goth-lover, so he likes me pale.

I rotate through them; I seem to build up a tolerance. Also: long sleeves, hats (I love hats), sunglasses (eyes can be just as damaged by sun), long skirts, full shoes. Nothing hurts worse than a sunburn on the tops of the feet. Currently using: Neutrogena something or other.

I live at high altitude, so sunscreen is a must.

9. I'm almost religious about wearing sunglasses.

I have light eyes and live in Texas -- the sun has always bothered me. I have enough wrinkles without getting more from squinting all the time. And then I learned about the eye problems you can develop from too much sun in the eyes and that was all I needed to hear! I wear sunglasses in the winter and on cloudy days, too. And since I drive a convertible, often with the top down, I also wear a hat or visor, partly to keep my hair from blowing everywhere.

10. I've got a family history of cataracts and glaucoma, so keeping my eyes

healthy is a priority.

I've got one wrinkle - right between my eyes, an "I want" line, but looking at baby pictures, I've always had it.

With luck, it'll hold off the rest.

13. Yes, I'm very fair-skinned with

blue eyes and blonde hair, and I have lupus, "flares" of which can be triggered by sun exposure.

I kind of dread summer because of the extra time putting suncreen on arms and legs, you know? In winter, I can rely on covering up with clothes.

Anti-sun damage daily moisture lotion 28 SPF. Smells like roses, too.

For body, I've given up on Neutrogena cream formulas-- they've changed the formula and now it pills up on me -- and am using the spray-on version. Yes, it's an aerosol and I don't like that much, but it works and it doesn't stink.

Keep it out of your eyes, though.
