Just want to vent about Viagra and ED medication |
|
I am a female and have received over one thousand e-mails about the wonder drugs available for ED. No matter what I do they keep coming. Now I have a Urology problem, I go to Shands hospital once a week for treatment. What do I see in all the treatment rooms? Yes, everything concerning ED plus lots of charts on how Viagra helps. The waiting rooms have everything you want to know about these drugs. God!! I am sick of looking at the male anatomy. When I see a guy in the waiting room all I can think of is Viagra, and if that is why he is here. Believe it or not there are some women who were happier before Viagra.

My mother-in-law is 74 and she has mentioned several times that her female friends are joking, if not outright complaining, about those drugs.
I didn't realize what a national health crisis ED has become! :sarcasm:

2. But just try to get birth control to prevent pregnancy |

You know, for all the times you're having sex since your guy is using Viagra--and the same pharmacist who happily passed out a mountain of Viagra will refuse to give you The Pill on "moral principle". :eyes:

3. I know of many complaints re: ED drugs |
|
I belong to a womens group board, about 5 years ago their was a huge discussion re: viagra. Seems many of the ladies men had begun to use it and it created havoc in their sex lives. Not a case of we don't want sex, rather that all sex became very "phallic" centered, and "mechanical". Many of the ladies were thrilled at first as their guys had chronic problems that had pretty much ended their PIV sex lives, only to get very upset over the results. This is not to say that viagra is bad per say, more along the lines of many of the men were rather self centered in their use of the drug. The general consensus was that they wished the drug had never been discovered.

4. My question is this -- is this stuff being used for REAL problems, or recreational? |
|
One cannot sit through a news broadcast without seeing at least 6 ads for various penile enhancement drugs. Do we have that MANY men in this country who can't get it up?
One can only wonder how many women's problems would be cured if the money being made on the sales of these drugs were used to solve our problems.

7. I used to work for a family practitioner who treated geriatric couples. |

There seemed to be a lot of men receiving scripts for Viagra (or something similar) whose wives were on Xanax (or something similar).
That says it all. :eyes:
