I have a date tonight with a much younger guy

I'm not sure how much younger he is, but I'm pretty sure he has no idea I'm 49 - I'm told I look like I'm in my 30's but I am overweight. I met him briefly a couple of months ago and we've been talking every day for the last couple of weeks. I'm afraid he'll take one look at me and realize that he'd forgotten that I am old and fat. He has no computer - which blows my mind and seems to have gotten more emotionally invested in me than I'm ready for just from our phone calls. So I've got a lot of conflicting insecurities going on here.

you do look like you are in your 30's, and have a wonderful personality! You have a great figure too- Please be kind to yourself! obviously this guy saw and heard something in your meetings and conversations that intrigued him, and wanted to spend more time with you. That's wonderful! That speaks even more to his character, IMO. While I understand you being insecure, please don't be. You have so much going for you, and he would be lucky to have you for his sweetie! :hug:

He's 30 and we had a very nice time. We'll probably even see each other again.
