Has anyone ever had laser surgery for broken capillaries

& skin discoloration? I have rosacea & have a mess of spider veins running over my cheeks. It finally got to where I would need pancake make up to cover it & decided to see if laser surgery would help. Since I was going to get laser treatment anyhow, I decided I might as well see if he could zap some of the freckles, liver spots, etc. at the same time.

I just had my first treatment today. When he was done my skin looked fantastic. I looked like I had a minor sunburn, but I couldn't see one spider vein. Now, that's all I see. :(

I'm supposed to keep it iced down for today. I'm hoping that things will improve tomorrow. Just seems weird that at the office everything seemed to be going great & now I look like I'm back to square one.

1. Update.

I panicked too soon. By the end of the day 90% of the broken capillaries were gone. I've got a few very small bruises & I had some weird swelling that has almost all gone away.

I am totally sold on this. In fact, I'm so thrilled with the results I might not even go in for further treatment. Why bother. It looks fantastic & I can save my money for thermage. :rofl:
