Anyone taken both Ortho Cyclen and Ortho Tri-Cyclen?

If so, which do you like better? Does Ortho Cyclen improve acne just as Ortho Tri-Cyclen does? I suppose a lot of people are taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo these days, but I actually am more interested in these other two pills because I want a pill with a higher level of estrogen.

1. I was on Ortho Cyclen, then switched to Tri-Cyclen

due to nasty cramps on the former.

I've been switched a few other times (insurance :eyes:), but I've stuck with triphasics and haven't had a problem.

I don't know if these other brands do anything for acne -- I'm 29, and still break out occasionally, not nearly as badly as I did as a teenager. I have no idea whether it's because I've outgrown it, because of the pills, or both.

2. I used to take the OT-C. I have been off BC pills for years now.

I never noticed a difference with breakouts, which would only occur when I was having my period anyway. I also put on ten pounds.

3. I've taken both...

Due to my weight, they took me off OTC and put me on OC. I was getting a build up of the hormone in them, and was getting spotting. I've been taking OC for a couple, three years now, and I'm pretty happy with it. It's not effecting my weight anymore.
