Another Perimenopause Question |
|
I'm going through perimenopause and find fatigues and headaches to be the troublesome symptoms. I don't have hot flashes or night sweats. Has anyone found an effective way of handling the fatigue and headaches that come with perimenopause? Thanks!

2. If you find an answer, let me know ... |

... I've been on an Estrogen patch (Vivelle) 4-6 days/mo to keep my estrogen from bottoming out since September, which for me anyway, has been the primary cause of the puking migraines.
Last weekend I ended up in the ER getting a morphine IV because I puked myself into dehydration and a near heart-attack. So now I'm getting a reduced level patch because (duh!) hormone patches, like any synthetic birth control, can elevate blood pressure! Also an Rx for a beta blocker to keep me from going over the edge, and a mild tranq (Fioricet) to try to stave off the headaches before they take hold.
So yes, please, if you find out anything natural, I'm all ears. I don't want to become one of those old folks who's a walking pharmacy because everything they take triggers something else that they need an additional scrip for. Ugh.
